so im really excited about this. west virginia is a bit of a trek, but i have no doubt that it will be worth it, ten fold or better.
now i just have to figure out when would be the best time to go. im terribly impatient, but we cant afford (and i dont want to) to make this just a day trip.

im beginning a journey. one where i hope to expose coal in its rawest form. from its source (the mountains) to its use (the power companies) and everything/one in between. while having made up my mind, i hope to provide information, documentation, and most of all photographs, that will be nothing more than raw and honest. as i long for nothing more than providing enlightenment, for those unaware of what energy truly costs.

I really hope you get to make the trip. I have seen Larry Gibson speak before and he is an extraordinary person. I live not far from Kayford Mt. and am all too familiar with the devastation of mountain top removal ... the loss of our land, homes, and culture.
thank you! i will definitely make it, its just a matter of when. (waiting on my husband to figure out his summer school schedule)
